Stu Morley (Keyboards)

Welcome to Bizr

Keyboards
Ahh yes the bit on the website where we say who we are and how we came to be here.... Well i was born to a pack of wolves just outside chipping-norton, and grew up worrying sheep, and making Peter Cushing 'B' movies (i also had a bit part in a famous Michael Jackson video). I learnt to play the keyboards about 6 weeks ago, training mainly on a speak and spell ( excellent sounds). My main influences are Beethoven, Liberache, Julie Andrews, and the one with the moustache from Queen... I met the other guys whilst they were on a saga holiday and there coach broke down. i didnt want them to catch there 'death of cold' so i helped the driver fix the bus, and Lee noticed i could 'hold a tune on the spanner' and the rest is history (Shaun, Les, and Lee love history seeing as they've been in it for so long...) And thats about it except to say i love playing in BIZR, I hope you all love hearing it...we won't do a demo disc....but we will MILK THE MERCHANDISE BABY!!!...............

Shaun Bessant (Lead Guitar)

Welcome to Bizr

"So I played the organ in Woolworth's, I can just about reach the chord buttons on the left and the keys on the right".

My parents were so proud of their 4 1/2 year old son playing silent night to a congregated clapping audience!!

From there my parents bought me keyboards for xmas but no guitar! That came at the age of 15 years when I picked up my brothers Spanish Flamenco Guitar and couldn't stop playing it! I had no idea what I was playing but it sounded right (played by ear!).

So with two weeks the penny clicked and I worked out the entire "Life after Death - Iron Maiden" album in one hour.. I knew there was something in it! So in 3 months I overtook all the guitarists I know! Bought my first electric guitar for £100 but was stolen at the Andover Rock and Blues Festival.. Irreplaceable but i still occasionallly look on ebay :-(

So here I am all these years later still in bands, an owner of 18 guitars, 2 keyboards and a drum kit!
Playing in bands has always been "enjoy it first" and the rest will come to you.. So playing in Bizr I give it my all, thoroughly enjoy blasting out tunes and letting the audience decide if we were any good!

The audience keeps me going as if it wasn't for them I couldn't do what I do live.. respect!

So here we are in 2007, I teach students, play in three bands, a session musician, writer and am rocking more now than I ever did. I think I will play tunes till I drop, at least I will "drop" with a smile on my face ;-)

Turn The Volume Up!!

Turn The Volume Up
Turn Up The Volume

I have been travelling around the country sourcing manufactures that can produce amplifiers that have volume controls that will go up to eleven on the control knob
"We can't do that" they cry but it's "What i want, it's what i need!

I have managed to find one supplier in Wales that have been able to produce a sample that i can try out (see imaged left)
It works well and i have had a very good reaction from people that have heard the piece of equipment in use
